MHI is one of the quietest and best-value Japanese aircon brands sold in Australia. The Bronte and Avanti Plus series in particular punch well above their price point. Owner-occupiers who want premium build at sub-Daikin pricing usually land on MHI.

The MHI range we install most
MHI Bronte (SRK) – the entry-premium wall split. R-32 refrigerant, very quiet at 21 dBA on low fan, 5-year warranty. 2.5 kW to 8.0 kW capacities.
MHI Avanti Plus (SRK ZSX) – the high-end wall split. Triple action filter, “Allergen Clear” mode, Wi-Fi via SmartM-Air app. Quietest in its class.
MHI Ducted (FDU) – we service and clean MHI ducted systems but do not install or repair them; whole-home ducted, 10 kW to 22 kW range. Three phase usually required above 14 kW.
MHI Multi-split (SCM) – one outdoor unit, up to 6 indoor heads. Strong choice for older Queenslanders where running ducted would mean tearing up ceilings.
Why pick MHI
- Quietness – the Avanti Plus series is among the quietest split systems in the market. Bedroom installs barely register.
- Build – MHI compressors are exceptionally reliable. Most we install in Brisbane homes outlast the homeowner’s expectation.
- Value – typically 10-20% cheaper than Daikin for equivalent kW. The “sweet spot” between value and quality.
