This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use and store it, and how you can access or correct it. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
When you request a quote, book a job, call us, message us or use our website forms and chat, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, property address, details about the work you need, and any information you choose to give us. If you pay us, payment details are processed by our payment providers and we do not store full card numbers.
How we use your information
We use your information to respond to enquiries, provide quotes, schedule and carry out electrical and air conditioning work, issue invoices and compliance certificates, provide warranty support, and send service reminders such as annual air conditioner servicing or smoke alarm compliance dates. With your consent, or where you are an existing customer, we may also send occasional offers and updates about our services. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to a text message, using the unsubscribe link in an email, or contacting us directly.
Website data
Our website uses cookies and analytics tools (including Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager) to understand how visitors use the site and to improve it. Our forms, chat widget and booking tools are provided by LeadConnector (HighLevel), and our job management uses simPRO. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only where needed to deliver our services: with our staff and licensed technicians, with suppliers and manufacturers for warranty claims, with regulators where the law requires it (for example electrical safety compliance records in Queensland), and with the service providers named above. We do not sell your personal information.
Storage and security
Your information is stored in secure, access-controlled systems. We keep records for as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal obligations, including record-keeping requirements for electrical work in Queensland, after which they are securely deleted.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you by emailing admin@faze-electrical.com.au or calling 07 4428 2766. If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, contact us first and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
