Failed items are tagged out at no extra charge. Minor repairs such as replacing a damaged plug top or a cracked power board are quoted on the day so you can approve them immediately. The trip-time test uses a calibrated instrument to confirm the switch disconnects within 300 milliseconds at its rated leakage current, which is the test the standard actually asks for.
