MHI is the one we carry as our premium line, and the reason is noise, or the lack of it. Model for model, MHI indoor units are among the quietest sold in Australia, which is exactly what you want a metre above a sleeping head. Daikin: the support network

Daikin’s units are excellent, but what you are really buying is the company around them: the largest dealer, parts and service agent network of any air conditioning brand in Australia. Whatever suburb you are in and whoever you call in year eight, someone nearby knows Daikin and can get the part. That is worth real money over a 10 to 15 year ownership life, and it is why Daikin holds its resale reputation. Mitsubishi Electric is available on request for customers who specifically want it, and our Mitsubishi Electric page covers the range. We do not supply Panasonic, but if you have already bought a Panasonic, or any other brand, we install customer supplied units from $1,217.81 including GST. The unit needs to be new and correctly sized for the room, and the manufacturer warranty stays with your supplier while our 5 year workmanship warranty covers the installation.

Multi head systems and whole home cooling

Multi head systems, one outdoor unit feeding several indoor heads, can suit blocks where outdoor space is tight, and we quote them only after a site visit because the pipe runs and head combinations decide the price. We do not install ducted air conditioning at all. For whole home cooling our standard advice is two to four well placed split systems: each room runs independently, running costs are lower, and a single failure never takes out the whole house.
